I am writing to you to formally express my deep admiration and thanks to you for all the work you have done providing animals for “Monarch of the Glen”. Among other creatures the writing has called for ducklings, errant puppies and a pack of wolves. Whatever animal we have wanted you have provided. Much more importantly you have brought your considerable skill and knowledge to ensure that we got our shots with the minimum of fuss and in a very short time.
Your work to make the character of the puppy “Useless” was breathtaking. You understood our brief, assimilated the story boards and then incredibly trained an eleven week old puppy to do our bidding.
Filming animals can be a frustrating experience. You have made it a pleasure and it has been a pleasure to work with you.
In the future whenever my script calls for any wild life or animal work you will be the first person I ring.
Very many thanks once again for all your help with both rats. As I said on the phone, the rushes look good and Jules has asked me to pass on his gratitude for getting exactly the range of shots he was looking for.
